🌱 GHIF Selected for Uganda’s GROW Project

We are honoured to share that Genuine Happiness International Foundation – Uganda Chapter has been invited to participate in the Government of Uganda’s GROW Project.

This nationally endorsed initiative, supported by the World Bank, aims to strengthen economic empowerment for adolescent girls and young women across Uganda. GHIF’s inclusion reflects our commitment to vocational training, life skills, and gender-inclusive impact especially in communities often left behind.

Through the GROW Project, GHIF will expand its reach, deepen its advocacy, and continue to ensure that every learner has the skills, support, and dignity to thrive.

🎓 Empowering girls. Expanding opportunity. Building futures.

🏅 Genuine Happiness International Foundation –          Now an Accredited Test Centre

Genuine Happiness International Foundation is proud to be recognised as a nationally accredited Vocational Training Test Centre in Uganda. This accreditation empowers us to not only train, but to officially assess and certify the youth and adult learners across our programs.

Whether in Carpentry, Tailoring, Hairdressing, Building Construction or  other Life Skills, our trainees now graduate with credentials backed by national standards thereby opening doors to employment, entrepreneurship and lifelong dignity.

Celebrating International Women’s Day with Honour and Purpose

We are so glad you are here to witness this moment. Genuine Happiness International Foundation – Uganda Chapter was honoured to be invited to take part in the 2025 International Women’s Day celebrations, standing alongside changemakers who believe in dignity, equity and visibility.

Our students—many of whom were once told their dreams didn’t matter—joined the day’s activities with strength, purpose and joy. From fashion showcases to community marches, their presence was more than symbolic. It was a testament to what empowerment truly looks like.

Before GHIF, I stayed home every day because I thought my voice did not count. Today, I walked with pride because now I make clothes, earn from my work and speak without fear” says Rebecca, tailoring trainee.

This invitation was not just a celebration. It was recognition of every life Genuine Happiness International Foundation – Uganda Chapter has helped rebuild through free vocational skills, share stories that were once hidden and youth leaders that were once excluded.
